ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGY
Pria's microfluorimeter enables the deployment of laboratory-grade
instruments to difficult settings such as point-of-care and
over-the-counter medical diagnostics, military field applications
and remote environmental detection.
The following outlines some of the benefits of Pria's technology:
·
Sensitive fluorescence detection: NanoFL has the ability to detect and differentiate substrate
emissions at nanomolar concentrations and absolute quantities as low as 50 femtomoles, the level
necessary to perform sensitive ELISA and molecular diagnostics
·
Flexible excitation and emission: A wide variety of excitation and emission wavelengths
can be targeted for different fluorophores of interest
·
Multiwavelength: Samples with multiple fluorophores can be independently
excited and detected, allowing a single sample to be tested for multiple
analytes, as well as for ratiometric measurements with an internal control
·
Multisample: The flexible design can be expanded for multiple
sample chambers when tests need to be performed simultaneously
·
Low-cost manufacturing: Although custom designed, all of the
components are amenable to modern high volume, low-cost manufacturing techniques
·
Digital architecture: Allows data archival, computer transmission,
complex algorithmic analysis and adaptable display
·
Small, convenient package: Handheld size allows
easy storage and transport
·
Small volume of sample required:
50 nanoliters
·
Low-power consumption: Enables long shelf
life prior to activation
·
Disposable internal components: None of
NanoFL´ components
require specialized disposal under EPA and EEA regulation
