THE FIRST LOW-COST, HANDHELD FLUORIMETER
Pria´s NanoFL microfluorimeter has all of the sophistication of a clinical fluorimeter with the price and size of a rapid diagnostic. NanoFL is designed for the quantitative detection of complex antigens, nucleic acids and biomarkers. Without any glass or quartz optical components, material coatings or high voltage light sources, the microfluorimeter is completely amenable to high volume, low-cost manufacturing and even meets US and European disposability regulations.
The NanoFL technology moves beyond the traditional sensitivity and specificity limitations of rapid diagnostics by performing fluid-phase readings with a completely digital analysis and control system. Yet the heart of the technology is its small size and ease-of-use. By example, Pria´s first product, Element, is under 3 square inches, weighs less than 50 grams and can be operated by a consumer.
