Pria was founded in 2002 to bring fluorescent clinical diagnostics into point-of-care and consumer markets. Since its founding, the Company has raised two rounds of investor financing, completed development for its first product, Element™, and signed distribution agreements with leading consumer products companies in the United States, Europe and Japan. In addition to Pria´s internal development efforts, the Company has on-going collaborations with Vanderbilt, Stanford and Boston Universities as well as working as a sub-contractor on DARPA and NIH grant programs.

Pria is currently evaluating partnership and licensing opportunities using its PICUS microfluorimeter platform in diagnostics addressing infectious diseases, bioweapons, industrial screening and environmental monitoring.
